Wow, Zig Ziglar seemed to offer only good advice. We have defined success as having all these materials things. Money, cars, large houses, the list goes on and on. I’m not saying that possessing those things means you are not successful. I’m saying that the mere presence of those things is not what success is.
Success is more about the internal determination. The metric for measuring success is internal and unique for all of us. It is a personal standard that strives for us to be the best version of us. I will never be the Michael Jordan of basketball, but I could define success as leading an intramural team to a championship at a community center.
Most importantly, success is action. We can dream all day long about our goals and what we want at the end, but without action, without doing as Ziglar puts it, we are nothing. Just do it!
Set good goals and take action.
